For some reason, Uplay will not be getting it until tomorrow (19 December.) Yes, we got a more dynamic lighting/weather system but the visual presentation took a big hit with this decision. Ironically, the series has never been able to match these visuals once it started using a fully dynamic lighting system. Its pre-baked lighting is one of the best I’ve seen, and its Global Illumination solution was incredible. There was a LOD fix mod for it, but apparently, it works best when taking screenshots (and not while gaming).Īpart from these issues, though, Assassin’s Creed Unity looks awesome. Moreover, its distant textures look blurry due to their low LOD values. In case you aren’t aware of, the game changes the LOD models of its NPCs right in front of view. Now the YouTuber has cleverly hidden the game’s LOD issues. The end result is truly amazing and makes Unity look just as good as most modern-day games. YouTube’s ‘Beyond The Hype’ has shared the following video with a Ray Tracing Realistic Reshade Mod and in 8K. And today, after seven whole years, the game remains a graphically impressive game on PC in 8K and with Reshade Ray Tracing. The game came out in 2014 and showcased some of the best graphics, especially on PC.
